Amanda McCallum
Founder / Director
Amanda McCallum is the founder and director of Summit Enrichment Academy. She and her husband, Matthew, have been married for 15 years and have two young children they adore. Their adventurous family enjoys traveling, hiking, mountain biking, and many other outdoor activities. When they’re not traveling, they love spending time with family and friends.
Their homeschooling journey began when their son started grade school. Homeschooling has allowed their family to learn and grow together, fostering strong and meaningful relationships. They consider the gift of time to be the greatest benefit of homeschooling.
Amanda is a CPA with 15 years of progressive experience. She has held various leadership roles, including a director position at another homeschool program. It was during this time that she recognized a greater need to serve the homeschool community, leading to the creation of Summit. Amanda is passionate about homeschooling and believes the hybrid model offers excellent opportunities for students. It allows them to interact with peers, build friendships, and learn in a small classroom setting, creating a strong community.
Summit is a blessing to those who join its community, and Amanda finds it a true honor to support and encourage families on their homeschooling journey.

Our instructors are passionate about teaching and bring this enthusiasm into their classrooms. By taking a hands-on, collaborative approach, they encourage creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork. Their mission is to inspire their students and instill a love of learning.
